Soon, you may not be able to use an applicant’s previous evictions, their history, and even horrendous crimes, as a reason to keep convicted felons out of your rental properties. This is only a fraction of what is already happening in other parts of the country. Big changes may be in store for you as a landlord sooner than you think.

This month, STLREIA is hosting attorney Maureen McDonnell, Esq.,  government affairs specialist and contract lobbyist in St. Louis. She has recently been retained by St. Louis Association of Realtors to coordinate efforts addressing the tenant rights issues that have already begun to appear in the city of St. Louis.

Recently, Maureen joined us on one of our Friday networking sessions and barely scratched the surface of the monumental upheavals coming  your way.
